“One day, I was listening to Dinah Washington and her song ‘You Let My Love Grow Cold’ came on. I had just moved to Los Angeles from my home in Canada to write a new body of work. My lover at the time was traveling for work and had stopped communicating with me. Heartbroken, alone, and in a brand new city, Dinah’s song inspired me. My song is as much an homage to Dinah and her brilliance as it is the indication of the end of a love affair.” – Red Rosamond.
